Let’s take it right back to 2011 when I started my first job working as an Education Recruitment Consultant. I remember that day well, riddled with nerves and the Education system blew my mind!
I quickly picked up on my favourite parts to the job and that was building my network of candidates and securing them their dream job (the best feeling).
Since 2011, I have continued to grow my skills and knowledge within the Education Industry and my passion for supporting schools and helping educational professionals is as strong as ever.
There is so much more to Education Recruitment. We are working with people on a daily basis and I always take pride in delivering what I say I can do. Taking time to listen to both client’s and candidate’s individual needs and tailoring a service to what you are looking for is what sets us apart from everyone else.

I began my career in Education Recruitment back in 2016. I quickly found that my many years of working with people face to face and having to use interpersonal skills frequently, I was well suited to this type of recruitment.
I quickly built up strong candidate and client relationships and in turn, progressed through promotions to a Business Manager.
Now owning my own recruitment company, I have taken with me what really works when finding people their ‘dream job’.
It means so much more to me than just ‘placing people’. I am able to listen and guide people to ensure their next job opportunity is the best suited to them.

My name is Lance and I’m a fully qualified secondary science teacher which means I have spent some time in a classroom, I promise I was a good teacher. Working within education has its own challenges but I am excited to work hard to help teachers find their perfect setting to allow them to thrive which in turn allows the next generation to thrive. After meeting Sophie, Scott and Hannah I have found a team who shares similar values with myself, a strive to be the best I can and work hard whilst also maintaining an ethos of caring and providing the best service. A bit more about myself, I have been involved in American football both playing and coaching, I currently at the highest level in the UK and have appointed a coaching role in the Great Britain Women’s National Program. Hi my name is Felix, I’m 24 and from Huddersfield, I have joined Best In Class as I have some previous experience in Education Recruitment and enjoyed working closely with both schools and candidates to achieve the best results possible. I have always enjoyed working with people as I would say I’m a sociable person and I am excited to progress in the business. After meeting Scott and Sophie I really liked the atmosphere in the office and the passion everyone has for helping schools to hire the correct staff to make the educational environment ideal for both the students and staff

Hi, I’m Jay I started my first role in Educational Recruitment back in 2021 after stepping away from the world of Primary School Teaching. As a teacher I put all my efforts into providing my students with the best education possible whilst providing a safe environment for them to flourish. Moving into recruitment my principles remain the same only now I aim to provide the highest quality staff that can make a difference in the lives of the young people in school. Since entering the world of recruitment, I have developed new skills and knowledge whilst using transferable skills to ensure that I was supporting both schools and teachers effectively.

Before joining the team, I’ve had quite the diverse journey, initially starting my career in the Police, then the tech sector and finally working in business support and administration. Hi, I’m Jess! I’m the Bradford Primary Consultant at Best In Class. Ever since I began working, I have always worked within the Education and Childcare sector. From starting as a Nursery practitioner, working my way up to Pre-School Manager and then Qualifying as a Primary School Teacher – my passion for Education has always been there! Being a Qualified Teacher, I understand what it really means to work within the classroom and enjoy using this knowledge to support candidates in sourcing the perfect role for them. Hi, I’m Joanna, As a mum of two (one Primary and one Secondary) I know the importance of how incredible teachers and teaching staff shape the minds of children and their futures. It was for that reason that I wanted to transfer my experience within recruitment to the wonderful, challenging world of Education.
