Art Technician – Secondary School (Bradford)

Best in Class is proud to be working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Bradford to recruit a passionate and reliable Art Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to support creative learning in a dynamic department, working closely with teaching staff and students to bring artistic projects to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organise materials, tools, and equipment for practical Art lessons.
- Support students with specialist techniques such as printmaking, sculpture, and mixed media.
- Maintain studio spaces, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels, assisting with ordering and resource management.
- Contribute to displays and exhibitions, showcasing student work across the school.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in an Art Technician or creative workshop support role (school-based experience desirable).
- Confident working with a range of materials and processes.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive, flexible attitude and a genuine interest in supporting young people.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
