Cover Supervisor

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming and inclusive two-form entry primary school in BD17. This is a full-time role for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and confident in taking responsibility for classes during short periods of teacher absence.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide high-quality cover supervision for classes across the school (typically from a few hours up to half a day).
• Support small groups of pupils to boost learning and progress.
• Work closely with SEND pupils, delivering tailored support and promoting an inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain continuity, positive behaviour and effective learning.

What you will need:

• Previous cover supervision experience in primary or secondary setting is essential.
• A relevant Level 3 qualification or above (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting pupils with a diverse range of needs.
• A flexible team player who can adapt quickly to changing needs and routines.
