Job Description: We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join our team. As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to ignite students’ passion for creativity and innovation through engaging and interactive lessons. This is a unique opportunity to inspire the next generation of designers, engineers, and innovators.


  • Develop and deliver dynamic and hands-on lessons in design and technology, incorporating both theoretical concepts and practical skills.
  • Teach a range of design and technology subjects, such as product design, graphic design, textiles, electronics, and computer-aided design (CAD).
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to explore and express their creativity.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork among students, encouraging them to share ideas and work together on projects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design and technology education.
    Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Design & Technology Education or related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification/license in Design & Technology or relevant subject area.
  • Previous experience teaching design and technology at the middle or high school level.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, technology tools, and industry-standard software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love of learning.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
