Geography Teacher

Best In Class is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Leeds to recruit a committed and knowledgeable Geography Teacher for a position starting in January and continuing through to July. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive Humanities team and play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-planned Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Create a purposeful and inclusive classroom environment that supports progress for all learners.
• Assess, record and report on student attainment in line with school policies.
• Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities and any fieldwork opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Geography Teacher (QTS or equivalent).
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach a balanced curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
