Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a confident, experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join one of our inclusive primary schools in Keighley. This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for a skilled practitioner who enjoys working across the full primary age range and contributing to the wider life of the school.

The successful candidate will provide PPA cover and staff absence cover across EYFS, KS1 andKS2, delivering high-quality lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment for all pupils. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure continuity of learning, progress and wellbeing for every child.

About You:

• HLTA qualified (or holds a higher-level teaching or education qualification).
• Confident delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including core and foundation subjects.
• Experienced in supporting children with additional needs, including SEN and SEMH.
• Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to manage different classrooms, age groups and learning needs effectively.
• Positive, resilient and organised with excellent classroom management skills.
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the inclusive and caring ethos of the school.
• Committed to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice.
