We are seeking a passionate and qualified Health and Social Care Teacher to join the dedicated faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in the field of Health and Social Care, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and actively engaging students in the learning process.
The successful candidate will plan and deliver a comprehensive Health and Social Care curriculum in line with the school’s standards and guidelines. You will be expected to encourage student participation and engagement within the classroom, supporting the development of key skills they can utilise within their adult life. It is important within this role that you will stay up-to-date with the development in Health and Social Care education and integrate relevant advancements into the curriculum that you teach across Key Stage 3 and 4. As an experienced Health and Social Care Teacher, you will understand the key concepts of the subject and related topics. Employing a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles is essential within this role so that you can effectively meet the needs of each individual student. Within this role, you will be expected to also participate in team meetings, parent-teacher conferences and other collaborative initiatives to improve teaching across the board.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have a passion for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Be a strong, adaptable individual looking to share their knowledge and expertise in Health and Social Care
- Plan and develop a comprehensive Health and Social Care curriculum
The successful candidate must have:
- UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE or SCITT, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous relevant experience
- An enhanced DBS that is registered to the update service
- Two suitable teaching references covering the past two years
- Right to work in the U.K
