We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 (KS1) Class Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team at a School in the LS11 area. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment for our young learners. You will work closely with fellow educators to ensure that our pupils receive the best possible education in line with the school’s values and curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, deliver, and assess a high-quality, engaging curriculum for KS1 pupils, ensuring their individual needs are met.

· Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence in learning.

· Differentiate instruction to accommodate the diverse needs of all pupils, including those with additional learning needs.

· Regularly assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback to both students and parents.

· Promote and uphold high standards of behaviour, discipline, and respect in line with the school’s policies.

· Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to plan and implement cross-curricular activities and events.

· Develop positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and encouraging their involvement in the school community.

· Contribute to the overall development of the school, participating in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

· Previous experience teaching in a KS1 setting is desirable, though newly qualified teachers (NQTs) will be considered.

· A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.

· Passion for working with young children and a genuine commitment to their academic and personal development.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.

· Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
