We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and inspiring young learners, creating engaging lesson plans and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages the development of each child.

Your responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the KS1 students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and respected.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to actively engage students in their learning and promote independent thinking.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents/guardians to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities and school events as required.


You will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 pupils in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
