KS1 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Leeds is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2025 to cover maternity leave. About the Role:

· Delivering the KS1 curriculum to a class of eager and enthusiastic learners

· Creating a positive and engaging learning environment

· Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all pupils

· Monitoring pupil progress and maintaining accurate records

· Working collaboratively with the KS1 team and support staff

· Building strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

· Recent or relevant experience teaching in KS1

· A strong understanding of the national curriculum and phonics

· Excellent behaviour management and communication skills

· A nurturing, creative, and reflective approach to teaching
