Male PE Teacher

Best In Class is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in the BD20 area to appoint an enthusiastic Male PE Teacher for a full-time placement starting in January and running through to Easter. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students, promote physical wellbeing and deliver high-quality PE provision within a supportive department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 to KS4.
• Lead practical sessions across a variety of sports, ensuring all students participate safely and confidently.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities, fixtures and enrichment opportunities.
• Monitor student progress, providing feedback and maintaining accurate assessment records.
• Uphold high standard of behaviour, motivation and teamwork both in lessons and during sport events.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified PE Teacher (QTS or equivalent).
• Confident teaching a broad range of sports and physical activies.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Energetic, positive and committed to supporting students’ physical and personal development.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
