Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Passion for Mathematics: A deep enthusiasm for the subject that can inspire students.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and relatable manner.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage classroom activities and administrative tasks.
  • Patience and Empathy: Understanding and supportive approach to student learning.
  • Relevant Qualifications: A degree in Mathematics or a related field, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
