About the Role:
Best in Class is looking for an outstanding HLTA to work in the nursery provision of a welcoming, friendly school in LS28. This school prides themselves on exceeding student targets as well as providing exceptional support to children and staff. Their nursery provision is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for their youngest learners. We are committed to fostering a love of learning and ensuring every child reaches their full potential. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 3-5 years. You will work closely with the nursery teacher to plan and deliver engaging activities, support individual learning needs, and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of our nursery provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of high-quality learning activities.
- Support the development of individual education plans (IEPs) for children with additional needs.
- Lead small group sessions and one-to-one interventions.
- Monitor and record children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery provision.
About You:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working in an early years setting, preferably within a nursery provision.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Passionate about early childhood education and committed to the well-being of young children.
