Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Pay Rate: £90 – £95 per day
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a school within the BD6 area of Bradford. This is a long-term opportunity, starting as soon as possible, supporting pupils with special educational needs.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference and has experience working with children who require additional support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
- Help manage behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing
- Encourage independence and confidence in learners
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting)
- Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
