Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Join our dedicated team as a SEN Teaching Assistant and support students in achieving their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, both in one-to-one and small group settings.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
  • Manage challenging behaviors effectively and empathetically, using appropriate strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure students receive the best possible support.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting children with diverse needs.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Passionate about inclusive education and promoting resilience in young learners.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (UK school based experienced).
  • A good understanding of strategies for supporting students with additional needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or speech and language difficulties.
  • Strong literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.
  • DBS on the update service

Desirable:

  • Relevant qualifications in SEN or teaching assisting
