Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Leeds. The successful candidate will support students with special educational needs (SEN) in a classroom setting, working closely with teachers to provide tailored assistance and ensure an inclusive learning environment. This role involves helping students with their academic, social, and emotional development, and adapting teaching materials to meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the classroom teacher.
  • Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
  • Assist teachers with the planning of learning activities and the preparation of resources.
  • Adapt teaching materials to suit the needs of individual students.
  • Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Support students with physical, emotional, or behavioral needs.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Person Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
