Best In Class is seeking to appoint a dedicated and inspirational Year 4 Teacher to join the schools dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching, creating a fun, stimulating and supportive classroom environment. The school is located on the outskirts of Bradford City Centre, making it easily accessible for all applying candidates using public or personal transport. The school have set out that your roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching allocated pupils by planning their teaching to achieve progression of learning
  • Identify clear teaching objectives and specifying how they will be taught and assessed
  • Setting out tasks based on the curriculum for Year 4, which will challenge pupils and ensure high levels of interest in students
  • Setting appropriate and demanding expectations to push your students out of their comfort zone
  • Set up activities for groups of students to take part in
  • Assign homework to students to complete outside of the classroom, solidifying their knowledge on various subjects
  •  Create a well-ordered secure environment that will ensure the educational well-being of individual children within the classroom
  • Create display boards that showcase students hard work and the themes of learning for that term

Whilst these are only a few of your roles and responsibilities, you may be required to fulfil further duties where required that relate to your role.

  • Be a dedicated, hard working, passionate Year 4 Teacher looking for a new role from February half term

The successful candidate must have:

  • UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE or SCITT, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous relevant experience
  • An enhanced DBS that is registered to the update service
  • Two suitable teaching references covering the past two years
  • Right to work in the U.K
