Year 5 Teacher

Duration: Short Term

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Year 5 Teacher to join a supportive primary school team in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

• A clean, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
• Minimum of 6 months experience working in UK education.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 5 pupils.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN and EAL.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil development.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and contribute to the wider school community.
