This weeks ‘Meet the Team’ is our extremely confident, proactive and outgoing new Primary Consultant, Felix Waddington! Felix has recently joined our Primary Education team, working alongside Connor to form great working relationships with our Primary Candidates and what can we say, he has fit into the team so well that its like he’s never not been here!
Although, we have all got to know Felix really well through the random assortment of questions that we ask and crazy scenarios that we give to see how he would react. We thought that after 3 weeks of him being here, it was about time we introduced him to all of our wonderful candidates by asking him just a few more questions! These questions are extremely tame to the ones that we ask however, the answers that he has given are top tier and we had to laugh at a few for how straight to the point they were. A great representation of how Felix is as a person!
Here goes nothing….
What do you want to achieve by the time you are 30?
I want to be progressing into a managerial role and be well known in the educational recruitment industry. As well as this I would like to have a house by 30 and be financially stable enough to live comfortably and travel to where I want!
If you could trade places with someone for a week, who would it be and why?
I would trade places with a world leader so I could see into what really goes on behind the scenes. I’m not big into conspiracies but I would love to find out what really happens and who is right/ wrong. I would really love to know about what goes on behind the scenes of sending people to the moon… Imagine being on a different planet to everyone else… a bit like Connor is at times but we all love him for it.
Where would your ideal holiday be and what would you do whilst you were there?
My ideal holiday would Bali, I have always wanted to go and surf, eat good food and hopefully go to a festival! I’m not a big fan of social media but when I see people go to places like Bali, it inspires me to get to a point where that could be ticked off my bucket list of travel destinations.
If you could live in any film or TV show universe, which universe would it be?
I would live in the Marvel universe so that I could get Tony Stark to make me an Ironman suit and fly about. Imagine the places you could go, free of charge and people seeing a man in a robotic suit just flying about in the sky… The world would quite literally be my oyster and I could literally go to Bali and back whenever I fancied!
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you bring?
I thought logically about this one and I would definitely take a knife, flint and a fishing net. I would use the knife to create shelter and build myself a farm etc, the flint to always have fire available and a fishing net to make sure I could always get some food! I could be very bored so my aim would be to get off the island as soon as possible… even though I am planning to build a farm and a whole little village set up if I could. At least the next person to get stranded on the desert island could make use of all my hard work once I had left!
What is your favourite thing about Best In Class?
The people! Since I joined, the people here at Best in Class have been nothing but amazing to me, teaching me the role, making me laugh and making me feel super welcome. Some of the questions that have been fired my way have been extremely strange but we all have a laugh about the answers and its definitely not something I expected when I came from my interview.
Are you an early bird, night owl or permanently exhausted pigeon?
I’d say I’m a night owl because I love a night out and never know when to call it a day and go home! Although, there’s been a few times we’re I have finished work, gone home and fallen asleep straight away so I could be a permanently exhausted pigeon too… just on weekdays!
So there you have it, here are all the answers to a few weird and wonderful questions that we asked Felix for his Meet The Team! Hopefully, from his answers you have got to know him a little bit more. There’s definitely a few answers that we didn’t know either considering, these aren’t anything like the questions we tend to ask each other in the office!
